[Image Description: Background is several triangles in a circle like a pie alternating from true red, scarlet and black. A robin is sitting on his perch looking to the right.
Top Text: “ CUSTOMER SLIDES CREDIT CARD BEFORE YOU ARE DONE RINGING UP THEIR ITEMS.”
Bottom Text: “NO. I WILL TELL YOUU WHEN YOU CAN SLIDE YOUR CARD. WAIT A GOD DAMN MINUTE.”]
I cannot stand when they do that. Perhaps I’m naive, but I have not heard of register that is able to calculate prices before I have even finished scanning items. When a customer does this, I’m an asshole and wait until they put their card back in their wallet and calmly say “Ok. Now you can slide your card.”
Makes me happy when I see them huff and puff as they go back digging in their wallet for their card.
